It is estimated that over half of the hospitalized medical patients are at risk for venous thromboembolism (VTE), i.e. deep vein thrombosis (DVT)and/or pulmonary embolus (PE). At Ucchvas, our team of experienced physicians and nursing staff takes all possible measures to prevent and treat thromboembolism in our patients.

Our approach at Ucchvas:

• Thrombosis and bleeding risk assessment

• Assessment for contraindications for thromboprophylaxis

• Selection of method of prophylaxis based on risk stratification

• Delivering mechanical and pharmacological prophylaxis

• Monitor patients for bleeding risk
